What M.Ross is
M.Ross is a remote MCP connector for cited research and drafting in Claude or Cursor. It is for educational and informational purposes only. It is not a law firm and does not provide binding legal advice from a licensed attorney.
Educational use only
M.Ross is an educational and informational research tool. It helps you explore legal topics, cited case law, and drafting patterns for your own learning. It is not a law firm, not a licensed attorney, and not a substitute for professional legal counsel.
Not legal advice
Nothing from M.Ross constitutes legal advice, legal representation, or the formation of an attorney-client relationship. Output may be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. You are solely responsible for verifying citations, statutes, court rules, deadlines, and filing requirements in your jurisdiction before you act.
Who may use it
M.Ross is for individuals handling their own legal questions. You may not use it as a licensed attorney acting for clients, or on behalf of third parties without understanding you are sharing information only. Never sign, file, or negotiate for someone else based on M.Ross output.
Jurisdiction coverage
Deep reference data at launch covers Washington, Oregon, Kansas, and Federal law. Other states may receive general guidance only. Always verify time-sensitive deadlines and filing requirements locally.
High-stakes matters
Do not rely on M.Ross alone when stakes are high: criminal charges, custody, immigration, bankruptcy, active litigation with opposing counsel, or deadlines within days. Consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.
Assumption of risk
You use M.Ross at your own risk. You assume full responsibility for any decision, filing, communication, or action you take based on anything you read, copy, or generate through the service.
Release of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, you release and hold harmless M.Ross, its operator, affiliates, and contributors from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to your access to or use of M.Ross, including reliance on any output, omission, error, or delay.
This release applies whether claims sound in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless M.Ross and its operator from any third-party claim arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, or your reliance on output in a professional capacity or on behalf of others.
No warranties
M.Ross is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
Access and consent records
Access is invite-only. You must accept these terms before connecting at /join. Your acceptance is recorded in our database with a timestamp, terms version, email, and request metadata. Consent records are append-only and may be retained for compliance after account changes.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms where permitted by law.
